Viroqua High School Boxing 1948-1949

After a hiatus due to World War II, my grandfather, Leonard Albin Szudy, received his bachelor’s degree from Ripon College. Following this, he went into teaching. His first teaching job was at Viroqua High School in Viroqua, Wisconsin, where he taught social studies from 1947-1950. During his time in Viroqua, he also coached the high school boxing team–an unsurprising move for him, given his boxing background. You can find his coaching journal for the 1948 and 1949 seasons here.
